About the Author

Anthony Huey

Anthony Huey has been drawn to storytelling since childhood, beginning with poems and short stories that gradually shaped his voice as a writer. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and raised between Cincinnati and El Paso, Texas, he developed a perspective influenced by the contrast of both regions.

Encouraged by strong feedback on his work shared online, Huey pursued publishing and released his first book, White Stetsons (2020), a semi-autobiographical story about a son reconciling with his estranged father battling Alzheimer’s disease. He followed with Probability (2023), the first entry in the Probability Trilogy, which earned an International Impact Book Award in 2025.

He continues the series with The Gods Among Us (2026), exploring themes of identity, power, and fate, with the trilogy concluding in Master of Fates (2027).

The Gods Among Us: Redemption of a Broken Man

In a world where power can reshape reality itself, the line between control and chaos begins to blur. The Gods Among Us expands the story introduced in Probability, pulling readers deeper into a conflict where identity, fate, and responsibility are constantly at odds.

As forces move behind the scenes and unseen players begin to emerge, those touched by extraordinary abilities must confront a difficult question: just because you can change the course of events, does that mean you should? With tensions rising and alliances shifting, the consequences of every choice become more dangerous and more personal.

Blending psychological tension with high-concept storytelling, this second installment of the Probability Trilogy explores the weight of power and the cost of trying to control what was never meant to be controlled.

The Story Behind the Trilogy

The Probability Trilogy began with a simple but powerful question: if someone had the ability to shape reality, who should decide how it is used?

What starts as a grounded story gradually expands into a layered narrative where power carries weight, consequence, and cost. Each installment builds on that foundation, exploring identity, control, and the fine line between destiny and free will.

At its core, the trilogy is not just about extraordinary abilities. It is about the people who carry them, the choices they make, and how those choices define who they become.

What stood out to me most was the characters. They are flawed, complex, and feel like real people dealing with impossible situations.

This is not just a fast-paced read. It makes you question things, especially around power and choice. Looking forward to seeing how the trilogy ends.
